ALS Accreditation and Equivalency Test November 2017 RESULTS

Alternative Learning System (ALS) learners who took the Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Test last November 2017 (including our very own Theo) are all hanging on the edge of their seats with regards to the results of the said test. Well, they do not have to wait in suspense for very long before the results are out.

According to a memorandum issued by Director Nelia Benito of the Bureau of Education Assessment to Department of Education (DepEd) Undersecretary Jesus Mateo, the results for the A&E Test given last November 19, 2017 (Luzon cluster) and November 26, 2017 (Visayas and Mindanao cluster) will be released on or before January 31, 2018.

The said memorandum also includes the schedule of the next ALS Accreditation and Equivalency Test as follows:
  • Luzon cluster - February 11, 2018
  • Visayas and Mindanao cluster - February 18, 2018

Furthermore, Director Benito set the target date for the release of the results of the February 2018 A&E Test, which is on or before April 30, 2018.

I had previously opened up about our dilemma on whether Theo should take the PEPT or the ALS A&E Test. Eventually, we decided that he should take the ALS A&E Test first. In the succeeding years, he will most likely take the PEPT every year, which will serve as his corresponding yearly academic record.

I just noticed that there is only a difference of 11 days between the announcement of results and the schedule of the next ALS A&E Test. The question now is, how would those who did not pass the November 2017 exam possibly take the February 2018 test, when the registration period is only from December 1, 2017 up to January 12, 2018? I'll do my best to seek for an answer to this, and once I have it, I'll be sure to update this post.

ALS Accreditation and Equivalency Test November 2017 List of Passers

Once the results are available, the list of examinees who have successfully passed the A&E test will be posted here.

ALS A&E Test results may also be found on DepEd's official site. A complete list of passers (both Elementary and Secondary) who took the test since 1999 are available on the said site. To view the list of those who passed the November 2017 ALS A&E Test, scroll down to the very bottom and click the links (Elementary and Secondary) for 2016.

UPDATE!

I am very happy to share here that our dear Theo passed! Thank you so much, Lord God!

DepEd failed to meet their target date last January 31 to release the results of the exam. Last February 6, we've learned that they started to send out the results to the division offices. It is only today, February 9 (Friday), that the names of passers were made available online.

Here are the links from DepEd showing the List of Passers. I'll TRY to post the names here when I have more time. For now, I just want to share the links so that you can see your names right away.
